I just wish they were doing something with a bit more purpose behind it other than "The first one made so much money we decided to do another one."

You know--that Silk Specture pic really made me wish Aamanda Conner was working on a 1960s spy comic more than anything.Kazekagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07499536996058174109noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8207237618509440496.post-14179783434779619792012-01-05T23:46:10.160-05:002012-01-05T23:46:10.160-05:00Oh man.
I really could just leave it at that, but...Oh man.

I really could just leave it at that, but I feel like expanding a little bit. My respect for Amanda Conner is huge, and that is admittedly a nice piece of art. But the very idea that Laurie should wear earrings inspired by the Comedian is a bad omen right from the start.

This feels like the sort of thing you would think people would avoid like it was radioactive. And yet? I can see the logic of wanting to work on them. Sink or swim, they will likely do bigger numbers than almost every other books on the stands.

Really, that in itself is all the explanation we need for why it's apparently going to happen.

Word verification: "fratar"C.
